DESCRIPTION

ManuLoc Rhizo stabilizes the wrist, the carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb, in case of irritation or combination injuries. Three anatomically exact, pre-shaped aluminum stays immobilize the wrist in a functional position, relieve strain, and limit radial and ulnar movement. The thumb brace fixes the thumb in a relaxed opposition position using an individually shapeable aluminum frame. Muscle pull is minimized, which relaxes the lateral ligaments. The immobilization of the wrist and thumb relieves pain immediately, and prevents inappropriate mechanical stress. The orthosis supports multi-stage therapies with secure immobilization: a Velcro® tab allows the gradual release of the thumb immobilization to allow a step by step mobilization of the metacarpophalangeal joint. The thumb brace can be removed completely as rehabilitation continues. All fingers are then released for controlled gripping while the wrist remains secured. ManuLoc Rhizo can be opened completely with three large Velcro® fastenings, and is easy to put on and take off with one hand. Its structure is highly breathable, lightweight, and lies flat against the wrist.

COMPLETE THERAPEUTIC SOLUTION

The aluminum stays incorporated in the ManuLoc Rhizo provide secure support for the wrist and thumb. These stays are already anatomically contoured, but they can also be individually adjusted to offer optimum support. Although immobilization of the joint is paramount at the start of treatment, it is also important to gradually exercise the muscles to ensure long-term regeneration. The secure hold provided by the thumb support can be loosened using a Velcro® Brand tab at the thumb, giving the thumb basal joint greater freedom of movement in a controlled way. Once a sufficient degree of mobility has been restored, the thumb support can be completely removed. This makes it possible for you to grip objects with all of your fingers again, while your hand is still stabilized and the risk of further injuries is reduced.

PRACTICAL AND COMFORTABLE

The orthosis is easy to put on and take off with one hand. The ManuLoc Rhizo can be opened completely along its length using large micro Velcro® Brand Fastening Systems. The ends of the fastening straps have an integrated pull-back stop device and allow the fastenings to be secured quickly and to the desired extent. The orthosis therefore fits like a glove, and the thumb support can be positioned individually.
Thanks to its breathable materials with additional air holes, the ManuLoc Rhizo is extremely comfortable to wear. The orthosis has a flat design and is made of velour and micro Velcro® Brand Fastening System , which enables it to be worn comfortably under your clothes, without pulling any threads, and also makes it particularly lightweight.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
