DESCRIPTION

The OmoTrain S active support relieves strain and stabilizes the shoulder joint during movement. A strap holds it in position over the shoulder support. The strap runs directly under the opposite armpit, creating maximized freedom of movement for the mobilization of the primarily muscle-controlled joint. The compression knit of the support massages the soft tissue of the shoulder during movement. This alleviates pain, speeds up the reduction of swelling, and stimulates the muscles that stabilize the joint. An additional viscoelastic pad can be fastened to the support if necessary. The pain relieving and muscle activating effects of the OmoTrain S are therefore further enhanced. Frictional nubs and a joint cavity ridge on the triangular Delta pad provide targeted relief for typical pain areas. The breathable knitted fabric is comfortable to wear on the skin. The anatomical fit of the support guarantees secure positioning and high wearing comfort. The straight strap allows for quick and comfortable application and removal: it is simply slipped on using the healthy arm, pulled over the head and arm, and secured in place using the Velcro® fastening.

REDUCING PAIN

The shoulder is largely guided by muscles and is therefore the most mobile joint in the human body. Supports that activate the muscles are therefore particularly well-suited to conservative treatment for the shoulder, since they help to prevent certain postures being adopted in order to relieve pain, and they promote the mobilization of the joint. The compression knit of the OmoTrain S exerts a stabilizing pressure from the outside and provides a beneficial massage for the soft tissue during movement. This stimulates the metabolism and activates the musculature. Swelling is reduced more quickly and pain-relief is achieved. This encourages the patient to move more, thereby improving muscular control for the long-term. The removable Delta pad of the OmoTrain S increases this massage effect, thanks to its nubs and its joint-cavity ridge that have a targeted effect on specific pain spots. When necessary, the Delta pad can be attached into the support and positioned as required.

SUPPORTING MOVEMENT

The elastic support has a direct strap system that does not restrict freedom of movement, meaning that the shoulder can be fully mobilized. The OmoTrain S is also very easy to put on and take off. It is simply slipped on using the healthy arm, pulled over the head and arm, and secured in place using the Velcro® Brand Fastening System. The breathable, anatomically contoured compression knit adapts to fit the shoulder perfectly and does not cause discomfort during movement. Support is therefore provided for the healing process, pain is reduced and mobility improved.

PRODUCT CARE

Washing regularly helps our supports maintain their shape and last longer. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine washable materials.

HERE’S HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BRACE:

For products with Velcro® straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using a laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air-dry; do not put it in the dryer.

Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain its elasticity and original fit.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
