DESCRIPTION

The OmoTrain active support stabilizes and guides the movement of the shoulder joint. With the help of a special strap system, it slightly lifts the upper arm to relieve the joint and hold it in a central position. Each movement in the shoulder joint becomes safer and smoother. Painful rotation is prevented. The compression knit of the support massages the soft tissue during movement. This reduces pain and promotes the reduction of swelling. The surrounding muscles are activated and the primarily muscle-controlled shoulder joint receives long-term stabilization. An additional viscoelastic pad can be fastened to the support if necessary. The pain relieving and muscle activating effects of the OmoTrain are therefore further enhanced. Frictional nubs and a joint cavity ridge on the triangular Delta pad provide targeted relief for typical pain areas. The breathable material and anatomical fit of the knitted fabric guarantees secure positioning and high wearing comfort. The strap leaves the chest area free and runs across the collarbone and stomach. OmoTrain is Universal so can be worn on the right and left.

PROTECTION FOR THE SHOULDER

In conservative treatment for the shoulder, secure guidance of the injured joint and carefully controlled mobilization are often key factors for successful healing. It is therefore also important to relieve pain in order to encourage mobility. With its compression knit and the tensile effect exerted by its special strap system, the OmoTrain centers the shoulder joint and protects it against painful circular movements. However, it also provides support for other movements, such as the lateral lifting of the arm, in order to strengthen the musculature. The full pain-relieving effect of the support is produced during movement. During movement, the compression knit exerts a beneficial intermittent compression massage that activates the metabolism and helps to reduce swelling more quickly. The Delta pad increases this massage effect, thanks to its nubs and its joint-cavity ridge that have a targeted effect on specific pain spots. When necessary, the Delta pad can be attached into the support and positioned as required.

SUPPORTING MOVEMENT

The support is easy to put on and take off thanks to its high elasticity, and it is secured to the upper body by means of a soft strap. The chest area is left free, so the support is particularly comfortable to wear. The OmoTrain is available as a universal version and can therefore be worn on either the left or the right. The breathable, anatomically contoured compression knit adapts to fit the shoulder perfectly and does not cause discomfort during movement. Support is therefore provided for the healing process, pain is reduced and mobility improved.

PRODUCT CARE

Washing regularly helps our supports maintain their shape and last longer. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine washable materials.

HERE’S HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BRACE:

For products with Velcro® straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using a laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air-dry; do not put it in the dryer.

Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain its elasticity and original fit.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
