FEATURES

For mild to moderate instability of the knee, the GenuTrain S is the perfect aid. Lateral joint splints guide your knee in its correct axis of movement. At the same time, the elastic Train knit fabric exerts an intermittent compression massage during movement to promote healing. This activates the leg muscles, helping your knee to quickly regain stability.

DESCRIPTIONS

SECURE GUIDANCE WITH A GENTLE MASSAGE

Chronic or acute injuries to the ligaments or joint abnormalities such as osteoarthritis can cause instability of the knee. GenuTrain S stabilizes the joint while activating the muscles for improved mobility. The kneecap is gently surrounded by a functional cushion made of silicone that holds it securely in position.

Lateral joint splints guide your knee and provide additional protection against undesired movements. Straps on the thigh and lower leg guarantee a firm and secure fit.

MORE STABILITY DURING MOVEMENT AND FASTER RECOVERY

With each movement, the soft Train knit fabric of GenuTrain S exerts medically effective compression and an intermittent compression massage. In doing so, it activates the stabilizing leg muscles and improves their coordination. At the same time, it promotes the metabolism. This helps to reduce swelling and, in turn, reduces pain: your knee can also recover during movement and muscle development is stimulated.

Lateral stays with hinges are the core functional element of the support. They offer passive stabilization as well as active muscular stabilization of the joint thanks to the knitted fabric. This makes it different from conventional knee supports or rigid elements.

PRODUCT CARE

Washing regularly helps our supports maintain their shape and last longer. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine washable materials.

HERE’S HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BRACE:

For products with Velcro® straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using a laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air-dry; do not put it in the dryer. Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain its elasticity and original fit.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
