What is Hallux valgus?

Hallux Valgus or bunion - is one of the most common foot deformities in the western world. Every 8th person suffers from the painful crooked position of the big toe.

What is the Hallufix Hallux Valgus Splint?

The Hallufix Hallux Valgus splint was developed by scientists and orthopaedists to correct the malpositioning of the big toe (bunion, technical term: Hallux Valgus).  

How does Hallufix work?

The Hallufix Hallux Valgus Splint returns the foot to its natural shape.  Regular wearing corrects the malposition of the joint.  The natural rolling movement can be performed again without pain.  The metatarsal support straightens the arch of the foot again.  Splayed feet (common with Hallux Valgus) are also supported by the support.  Preventive (for mild and moderate Hallux Valgus) and post-operative.

What does preventive use of the Hallufix Hallux Valgus Splint mean?

Initially, the Hallux is usually only a cosmetic problem, but over time it can cause increasing pain.  In mild and moderate cases, wearing the Hallufix Hallux Valgus Splint regularly relieves the pain and counteracts further deterioration of the big toe deformity. Studies confirm that the Hallufix Hallux Valgus Splint is an effective aid for correcting Hallux Valgus deformity.

What do you get in the replacement set?

The replacement set is suitable for all Hallufix® CLASSIC splint sizes.

The set contains:- 1 x Gel side cushion, 1 x metatarsal and 1 x toe bandage.

Can be worn on the left and right.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
