DESCRIPTION

The ValguLoc night-time postural splint corrects hallux valgus misalignments of the big toe. In nonsurgical therapy, the light corrective pressure keeps the big toe in its natural, almost straight position and stretches the sections of the joint capsule that have been shortened due to misalignment. This relieves symptoms, counteracts strong joint wear and helps to prevent resulting misalignments of the little toes. The corrective pressure can be continuously adjusted using a Velcro® fastening. ValguLoc secures the surgical outcome during postoperative care. Its use can for example prevent the possible loss of correction due to scar formation. The postural splint additionally protects the recently operated big toe against light knocks while sleeping. The orthosis is anatomically contoured and corrects according to the 3-point principle. Its simple construction makes it easy to put on and take off. The inside of the half-cup is soft and comfortably padded and offers excellent wearing comfort. ValguLoc is worn without shoes while at rest, and is not suitable for walking.

YOUR TOE ON THE HOME STRETCH

ValguLoc supports the aligned position of the big toe after surgery or prevents a misalignment from getting worse. It is used during the night as a postural splint. The functional design guarantees a correct fitting of the orthosis: The correction pressure is continuously adjustable using the Velcro® Brand Fastening System.

WORKS WHILE YOU REST

ValguLoc works while your foot is resting: The anatomically contoured stabilizing orthosis helps to align your toe and is not suitable for walking. The half-shell construction also offers slight protection against external hazards. On the inside, low-fatigue cushioning increases wearing comfort and protects against pressure points.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
