DESCRIPTION

The ValguLoc II splint corrects hallux valgus misalignment of the big toe at rest and while moving. During the day and at night, it helps to prevent the progression of the painful deformity and thus protects against possible long-term effects like osteoarthritis or misalignment of the little toes. It features a three-dimensional adjustable joint to individually adjust the correction angle to the shape of the foot in accordance with the therapeutic aim. The angle setting also remains intact during the heel-to-toe movement of the big toe. Flexion and extension can also be gradually limited. This allows the ValguLoc II to immobilize the metatarsophalangeal joint after surgeries, and free it up step by step during the mobilization phase to protect it against excessive strain. It also offers support during the nonsurgical functional treatment of the misalignment. The orthosis is anatomically contoured and lays flat against the foot. This means ValguLoc II will not cause pressure points and can be worn in comfortable shoes. The inside of the half-cup is comfortably padded and offers excellent wearing comfort. The orthosis can be worn on the right and left foot.

 

YOUR TOE ON THE HOME STRETCH

ValguLoc supports the aligned position of the big toe after surgery or prevents a misalignment from getting worse. It is used during the night as a postural splint. The functional design guarantees a correct fitting of the orthosis: The correction pressure is continuously adjustable using the Velcro® Brand Fastening System. 

 

WORKS WHILE YOU REST

ValguLoc works while your foot is resting: The anatomically contoured stabilizing orthosis helps to align your toe and is not suitable for walking. The half-shell construction also offers slight protection against external hazards. On the inside, low-fatigue cushioning increases wearing comfort and protects against pressure points.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

  • Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
  • We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
  • The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
  • All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
  • DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

 

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

  • You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
  • The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
  • You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
  • We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
  • Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
  • Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
  • Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
  • If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
  • When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
  • Hygiene notice:
    For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
