DESCRIPTION

MalleoTrain stabilises the ankle joint and renews the wearer’s confidence for movement. The knitted fabric comfortably compresses the surrounding soft tissue. Two anatomically shaped, viscoelastic pads sit exactly behind the lateral and medial malleolus, protecting the area from pressure peaks. During movement, the knit and pads provide a pain relieving, intermittent compression massage effect. Circulation around the joint capsule and tendon insertions is stimulated, allowing edemas, effusions and hematomas to be reduced much faster. The support additionally stimulates the stabilising muscles, and improves sensorimotor function. The ankle joint is strengthened long-term, reducing strain on the ligaments. MalleoTrain’s breathable knitted fabric is comfortable to wear on the skin, and regulates the moisture exchange. Its anatomical shape guarantees a secure hold and high wearing comfort. The support’s particularly elastic edges gently conduct the compression outward and prevent slippage and uncomfortable constriction. A small, supplied donning aid makes the support easy to put on.

The MalleoTrain active support helps you every step of the way, quickly allowing you to walk again without pain. With every movement you make, the two pads also become active, massaging the ankle joint. The pads are covered in a breathable knit, with a compressive effect which provides the ankle with an intermittent compression massage, thereby improving circulation and helping to reduce swelling.

Washing regularly helps our supports maintain their shape and last longer. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine washable materials.

HERE’S HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BRACE:

For products with Velcro® straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using a laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air-dry; do not put it in the dryer.

Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain its elasticity and original fit.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
