DESCRIPTION

Combined with shoes, AirLoc stabilizes the ankle and prevents recurring sprains following an acute injury. Two anatomically contoured, cushioned plastic shells are connected flexibly below the heel, allowing the orthosis to adapt perfectly to the width of the foot. Thanks to an inflatable air cushion integrated into the outer shell, AirLoc’s shape can be individually adjusted to the degree of swelling when putting on the orthosis.

PROTECTION FOR THE HEALING ANKLE

Particularly for recent injuries or in the period immediately following surgery, your ankle needs special protection. AirLoc stabilizes the ankle with two anatomically contoured plastic shells lined with extensive cushioning on the inside. These are connected flexibly below the heel and fixed to the lower leg using two Velcro straps that are wound around the ankle and lower leg.

An additional air cushion ensures that the orthosis not only adapts to the width of your foot but also the degree of swelling on the injured ankle. Using the integrated pump and a release valve, the air cushions, and therefore the fit of the orthosis, can be adjusted as needed throughout the entire recovery process. Nevertheless, AirLoc has a slim design and easily fits into various types of shoes. The orthosis comes in a universal size and can be worn on the right or left foot.

FIT AGAIN FASTER

When you wear AirLoc with a closed shoe, the plastic splints protect your ankle against further sprains. With its perfect fit, the ankle orthosis guarantees contact over a large area, which positively influences sensorimotor function. This allows you to control your muscles more efficiently, stabilizing your foot with your own strength. AirLoc gives you the confidence to move correctly and without fear despite your recent injury, enabling you to find your way back into your usual day-to-day life. After all, the golden rule for optimal recovery is: being active is key to good health!

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
