DESCRIPTION

The LumboLoc lumbar orthosis provides relief for the lumbar spine and helps to reduce pain in that area. Its strong, firm knitted fabric surrounds and stabilizes the torso while gently straightening the back. Integral corset stays in the back additionally straighten and also improve strain relief in the lumbar area, which is further enhanced by the abdominal compression. Its strength can be adjusted using the Velcro® fastening. The circular compression exerted by the knitted fabric of the orthosis is particularly intense in combination with muscle tension. The muscle activating massage effect is therefore stronger during movement, when the intermittent compression stimulates the stabilizing abdominal and back muscles, and improves muscle control through sensorimotor feedback processes. The knit of the LumboLoc is comfortably breathable and moisture-regulating. Practical hand straps on the abdominal fastening make it quick and easy to put on the orthosis. Its anatomically contoured corset stays and the close-fitting knitted fabric guarantee a secure hold and high wearing comfort.

SUPPORT INSTEAD OF SUFFERING

Four aluminum rods in the back section of the LumboLoc align the lumbar spine and help it to adopt an anatomically correct and pain-free posture. They can be re-shaped if the individual anatomy requires it. The compressive effect upon the abdomen and thus, indirectly, the relief of the lumbar spine can be individually adjusted using the Velcro® fastening at the front.

Thanks to its anatomical fit, the LumboLoc always sits comfortably; the elastic, breathable material fits the body perfectly Velero fastings and practical hand straps make handling easier so that LumboLoc can be fitted quickly and simply. This support is therefore an discrete but strong partner in combating back pain.

Washing regularly helps our supports maintain their shape and last longer. All Bauerfeind supports are made with machine washable materials.

HERE’S HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR BRACE:

For products with Velcro® straps, pads or inserts, remove them if possible, or fasten them securely at the place provided on the brace. Machine wash your brace in cold water using the gentle or delicate cycle. Wash separately using a laundry detergent with no additives (do not use fabric softener or Woolite). Lay your support flat and let it air-dry; do not put it in the dryer.

Proper washing and drying helps your knit support maintain its elasticity and original fit.

DELIVERY INFORMATION

• Orders of £30 or more qualify for free delivery. For orders under £30, a £3.95 delivery charge will apply.
• We only accept orders with a UK delivery address.
• The product price you see on our website includes VAT.
• All deliveries are by courier service and should arrive within 3 – 5 working days.  Leave safe and delivery to a neighbour have been disabled on our DPD account due to security reasons.
• DPD will deliver but will not ask for a signature, they usually take a photo of the parcel in the open doorway of the delivery address.  If you are not at home you can chose what happens to your parcel via the "in flight" options via the DPD app or tracking page.

RETURNS & REFUND INFORMATION

• You can return any product up to 14 days following receipt of the item. (please note that the return must be returned to us within 14 days from delivery).
• The product must be unused, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition.
• You will be responsible for the shipping cost of returning the product.
• We will only refund the shipping cost, should we have picked the wrong product in error, or it is proven to be faulty.
• Before returning an item, please contact us by email orders@brace-yourself.co.uk or by phone 0800 3688964.  We will give you a returns number, together with details on how and where to return your item.  Please note, we cannot process a return without an authorised returns number.
• Returns will be processed and refunded within 15 working days from receipt of the item into our returns department and on the basis that it complies fully with our terms and conditions.
• Refunds will be paid to your purchasing card.
• If you are looking to exchange an item based on a sizing issue, please make the customer service team aware when you contact them for a returns number.
• When returning a product, please be aware that this is at your risk until received by us.  We therefore strongly recommend you return the item using a tracked service with insurance cover, in case of damage or loss.
• We reserve the right to refuse a returned item if we deem it to be in an unsuitable condition. 
• Hygiene notice:
  For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of pillows that have been opened or used, unless they are faulty.
